This extensive condo renovation began with a distinct client vision; a sleek, contemporary space ideal for entertaining or a quiet evening at home. A modern interpretation of wainscot paneling defines the double height foyer, accentuated by a deep brown ceiling.
The main living space functions as kitchen and dining room, theatre and cocktail lounge - yet each maintains its' own distinct identity. Dark textured laminate wall paneling provides a backdrop for the muted color palette, while opposite an impressive limestone fireplace surround houses a large television.
Custom designed cabinetry and furnishings appear predominately throughout the home. The kitchen features high gloss lacquer cabinets, while the library is home to a contemporary open-back wall-unit. A specially designed bar and dining credenza is the finishing touch to the main living area. The master suite boasts a custom vanity, headboard and bed, as well as custom nightstands with matching dresser.
Clean lines, minimal accessories, and a few statement pieces blend seamlessly together to create a stunning contemporary interior.
"The art of contemporary design is in the details. It is a common misconception that contemporary interiors are stark and uninviting. Richness, layering and warmth are all key components to a successful space, regardless of its' overall scheme. While this home is streamlined and uncluttered - it welcomes you, and you just can't resist the chance to stay for awhile.”
